If the Human race is going to survive decently, we need to think outside the oil-box.

Simple (or as complex and intricate) as that!

I believe that Hubbert will prove more influential than Einstein or Watson and Crick, and we need to even-out this (restricted) exponential before heads are chopped-off... as you allude.

Chris.Professor Chris Rhodeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12060542089215379056noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19508699.post-81106979177170961902007-10-24T11:40:00.000+01:002007-10-24T11:40:00.000+01:00Nicely done. Hubbert's work has survived the test of time and in retrospect his calculations so many years out seem to be fairly on point.

As one who subscribes to Peak Oil, at least as it pertains to the ability of ones "real" economy, the lack of most western countries denial is beyond frustrating.

It seems they will rely on demand destruction to solve the supply problem rather than revamping our infrastructure and guide us to more localized economiesd as possible.

Demand destruction seems to discount the impact on people rather than consumers. The let them eat cake approach doesn't seem to work well in practice -- just ask Marie and Louie.Terry and Paulhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07369861269183383681noreply@blogger.com
